Research
To get a clear understanding of this problem,I interviewed six dedicated church members—both frequent attendees and those active when work allows.. I discovered from the interview that:
- Members want on-demand access to sermons and Sunday school lessons so they
can stay engaged during the week, or when they miss a service. - Members rely on Facebook for updates but want a simpler, direct way to access
information without extra steps or contacting others.
The big question is :
How might we create a dependable and easy way for members to stay connected
through Pastor Huggin’s sermons, and updated on church announcements?
Solution
To enhance spiritual engagement through on demand access:
- Design a livestream and on-demand sermon recordings to ensure users never miss
Pastor Huggins’ teachings - Design an announcements page that delivers reliable updates on services, events,
and church news, helping users stay connected and continue supporting Pastor
Huggins - Design weekly devotionals, scriptures, and personal words from Pastor Huggins to
support continuous spiritual growth and connection throughout the week.

The images below show a home page which prioritizes sermon content, a navigation options that also promote weekly spiritual growth, a page that showcases announcements and events, and a contact page that promotes engagement with the pastor
Expected Result
Church members using the platform should have easier, on hand, access to sermon recordings. They can expect dependable updates on services, events, and church news so they can stay connected and continue supporting Pastor Huggins’ mission
Next Step
The next step involves designing pop-up alerts notifying users when a livestream is active, and integrating a user profile feature in the main toolbar. This will promote continuous, and personable engagement.
